At its most basic, Qminder requires only a web browser on a computer or smart device. If you want to set up a self-check-in kiosk, you need an iPad and a stand. If you wish to display the waiting list and notifications on a TV, an Apple TV is also required. Here is a comprehensive overview of various available setup options.
Qminder does not provide hardware. Depending on your setup, optional hardware will incur a one-time additional cost and should be purchased separately. Apple devices are available through your preferred provider, such as a local Apple store or reseller. Our team is available to guide hardware selection. For enterprise plans, we can work with trusted hardware providers for delivery and setup.
Visitors are not required to install any apps to interact with you. Based on your envisioned set-up, you may need a Qminder app for TV displays in waiting rooms and/or iPads for self-check-in kiosks. We will guide you through app installation and setup as needed.
