How do I set up Qminder on a Samsung Smart TV?

  1. Install Qminder TV application from the Samsung Smart TV apps store.

  2. Open the installed Qminder Sign-In application to see a four-digit pairing code.

  3. Login to Qminder Dashboard. Go to Location -> Devices and click Add TV.

  4. Enter the pairing code from your TV.

That's it! Now Qminder is fully functional on your TV.

Open Location then Devices and click on the TV you wish to customize.

  • Name - Change TV name.

  • Lines - You can select what lines will be displayed on TV.

  • Flush Served Tickets:
    After Serving (default) – Visitor's name will be erased from TV when service ends.
    Never – Visitors who have already been served will stay on TV.
    10 Minutes After Serving – Visitor's name will be erased from TV 10 minutes after service ends.

  • Type:
    Waiting List (default) – Shows visitors in waiting line and the ones currently being served.

System requirements

Samsung Smart-TV 2013 - 2015 models.

Quick test

You can test how overview monitor works in Google Chrome.

  1. Open overviewmonitor.qminderapp.com in Chrome browser to see a four-digit pairing code.

  2. Login to Qminder Dashboard. Go to Devices and click Add TV.

  3. Enter the four-digit pairing code from the Chrome browser.

That’s it! You can test now how Qminder monitor works.

Please note that Qminder do not guarantee fully working browser based overview monitor. If you decide to use this method to show queue information to your visitors, make sure you have right screen settings as well as proper HDMI cable for sound notifications.
