Tele2 Latvia Client Center Queue Success
2017 note from Qminder: We no longer support wasteful and impersonal printers. All our clients have moved on to our new name-based, paperless queueing solution.
About Tele2 Latvia
Tele2 is one of Europe’s the fastest growing telecommunications operator, with about 34 million customers in 11 countries.
In Latvia it operates as one of the largest nationwide Mobile Network Operator. More than a million people have chosen Tele2 Latvia as their mobile service provider.
Last year Tele2 started to update their client centers to a new concept from a Swedish company called „Boys dont cry“. New layout has no borders between a client and a teller using the newest technologies.
One of the main goals of the new concept is to let customers browse around the store without worrying to get served. TV with a clear sound informs the customer which teller will take responsibility of the client.
"Tele2 wants to achieve that customers could browse around the store while waiting and Qminder is doing this right now", tells Arnis Pucins, director of the Tele2 Retail Department.
Qminder allows visitors to line up either by taking a ticket from the Star Micronics AsuraCPRNT Printer or from the free smartphone application.
To inform the visitors on site about their turn, a Smart TV is showing the Overview Monitor.
To call the next visitor employees just need to log into Qminder Dashboard trough any modern web browser. No additional software to download or install.
Smartphone Qminder app
Many of Tele2 client centers are located in shopping malls. Customers using Qminder free smartphone application don’t need to wait on site. They can visit other stores and be sure that they will not miss their turn. The app informs about the waiting time and how many people are before – all information is updated in real-time. Qminder will remind you with notifications even when your phone is locked and in your pocket.
"With Qminder smartphone application customers can easy keep track of the queue and use their time as they wish," explains Arnis Pucins, director of the Tele2 Retail Department.
Qminder is innovative, modern and adaptable queue management system and suits perfectly for governmental institutions. It allows customers not only line up by taking a printed out ticket but remotely with free smartphone application. The app informs them about the waiting time and how many people are before them – all information is updated in real-time. Qminder will remind you with notifications even when your phone is locked and in your pocket.
With Qminder there is no software to download, server to maintain nor specific hardware at employee’s work station. Tellers just log in trough any modern web browser and they are ready to serve customers. Learning Qminder takes just minutes without any specific knowledge.
